2008

Founded

BDC Tanzania was established in Dar es Salaam with a small team of 5 and a big vision for entrepreneurship development.

2011

First EDP Cohort

Launched the flagship Entrepreneurship Development Program, graduating 45 participants in the inaugural batch.

2014

Coaching Division

Introduced one-on-one business coaching services with ICF-certified coaches, expanding our support beyond group training.

2017

National Expansion

Opened regional offices in Arusha and Dodoma, bringing BDC programs closer to entrepreneurs across Tanzania.

2020

5,000 Graduates

Reached the milestone of 5,000 trained entrepreneurs, with over 60% reporting measurable business growth within one year.

2023

Digital Transformation

Launched hybrid training programs and digital resources, making entrepreneurship education more accessible than ever before.

2025

Looking Ahead

Expanding our mentorship network and launching new sector-specific programs to serve 10,000 entrepreneurs by 2028.
